Since June 2011 GESS has been registered with the Council of Private Education under the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), as set out under the Private Education Act and the Private Education Regulations and is permitted to accept students on Student Passes. The EduTrust Certification Scheme is voluntarily and, by special grant of Singapore government, GESS is exempted from the legislation that only EduTrust certified schools are allowed to accept students on student passes.
